summary
ISO 20022-2:2013 defines the UML profile used to create models that conform to the ISO 20022 metamodel.
description
This third edition of ISO 20022-2 specifies the UML profile for the ISO 20022 universal financial industry message scheme. It defines how scope-level, business-level, message-level, and related metamodel elements are represented in UML, including package structures, metaclass mappings, data types, stereotypes, tag definitions, and OCL constraints. The standard supports consistent, technology-independent modeling of financial services messages and complements the other parts of the ISO 20022 framework, including the metamodel, modeling method, XML Schema generation, reverse engineering, transport characteristics, registration, and ASN.1 generation.
Application Scope: For financial institutions, standards developers, software architects, modelers, and implementation teams creating or reviewing UML models that conform to the ISO 20022 metamodel.
