BS EN 10365:2026 Hot rolled steel channels, I and H sections — Dimensions and masses

This British Standard specifies the nominal dimensions and masses of hot rolled steel channels, I sections, and H sections.

BS EN 10365:2026 is the UK implementation of EN 10365:2026 for hot rolled steel channels, I sections, and H sections. It specifies nominal dimensions and masses for parallel flange I sections, wide flange beams, extra wide flange beams, wide flange columns, bearing piles, universal beams, universal columns, taper flange I sections, and parallel or taper flange channels. The standard also covers dimensional, shape, and mass tolerances; applicable steel materials; designation requirements; and formulae for calculating nominal sectional properties. It supersedes BS EN 10365:2017 and EN 10365:2017. The European Standard was approved by CEN on April 27, 2026, and the British Standard was published by BSI on July 31, 2026. Application Scope: Use for the specification, ordering, design, manufacture, and verification of hot rolled structural steel channels, I sections, and H sections, excluding stainless steel sections.
