BS EN 13445-2:2026 specifies requirements for steel products used in unfired pressure vessels. It covers material requirements for pressure-bearing and non-pressure parts, technical delivery conditions, marking, material grouping, prevention of brittle fracture at low temperatures, elevated-temperature applications, welding consumables, clad products, fasteners, and material and component provisions.
This British Standard is the UK implementation of EN 13445-2:2026 and supersedes BS EN 13445-2:2021+A1:2023, which is withdrawn. It is intended for use with the other relevant parts of the EN 13445 series for the manufacture, design, fabrication, inspection, and testing of unfired pressure vessels.
