BS EN 558:2008 specifies standardized face-to-face (FTF) and center-to-face (CTF) dimensions for metal valves installed in flanged pipe systems. It covers PN- and Class-designated valves across a wide range of nominal pressure ratings and nominal diameters, including gate, ball, plug, diaphragm, globe, check, control, and other valve types. The standard provides dimensional series, tolerances, definitions, applicable valve configurations, and guidance for flanges with raised faces, ring joints, resilient linings, and hard linings. It supersedes EN 558-1:1995 and EN 558-2:1995.
