1 Scope This British Standard gives guidance on the selection and use of instruments for the measurement of humidity. It introduces the main concepts and practical techniques involved in measuring humidity in air and other “inert” gases and provides an explanation of how to make valid and meaningful measurements. It also includes guidance on specifying or choosing appropriate equipment for a known application.
