Why should you use BS 6829-4.5- Sulphated ash of non-ionic surface-active agents?
A surface-active agent, or surfactant, is a substance that lowers the surface tension of the medium in which it is dissolved, the interfacial tension with other phases, and is positively adsorbed at the liquid-vapour interface and other interfaces.
BS 6829-4.5 provides you with a gravimetric method for determining the sulphated ash of non-ionic surface-active agents. BS 6829-4.5 guides you with the reagents, apparatus, and sampling required for the test. BS 6829-4.5 guides you with the procedure and expression of results. BS 6829-4.5 helps you to regulate sulphated ash of non-ionic surface-active agents.
