What is BS 9751 - Blank detail specification for inductors about?
Inductors are passive electronic components used for storing electrical energy in the form of magnetic energy. BS 9751 covers fixed, insulated, radio frequency inductors and references their electrical characteristics.
BS 9751 lists the ratings, characteristics, inspection requirements and additional information for fixed insulated (unshielded) r.f. inductors at the full assessment level which are to be included as minimum mandatory requirements in the detail specification. BS 9751 constitutes therefore a blank detail specification derived from BS 9750: Specification for fixed r.f. inductors of assessed quality: Generic data and methods of tests.
Who is BS 9751 - Blank detail specification for inductors for?
BS EN BS 9751 on blank detail specification for inductors is useful for:
- Manufacturers of electronic devices
- Manufacturers and suppliers of electronic inductors
- Product development teams
- Maintenance teams
- Companies associated with designing and installation of electronic devices
