BS EN 10277-3:1999

This European Standard, a part of the BS EN 10277 series, applies to bright steel bars in the drawn, turned or ground condition, in straight lengths of free-cutting steels.

This standard is complemented by BS EN 10277-1.

This standard covers the classification and designation of steel, information to be supplied by the purchaser, the manufacturing process, requirements for chemical composition and mechanical properties of steel, inspection and testing, and marking of steel.
