What is BS EN 14256 - Non-structural adhesives about?
BS EN 14256 specifies guidelines for the evaluation of the mechanical behaviour of non- structural adhesively bonded joints subjected to short- and long-term exposure at specified conditions of temperature (heat resistance). This is determined by means of measurement resistance to static load of non-structural adhesively bonded joints.
Who is BS EN 14256 - Non-structural adhesives for?
BS EN 14256 on non-structural adhesives is for:
- Adhesives manufacturers and suppliers
- Chemical engineer
- Scientists and researchers
- Manufacturers of wood structures
Why should you use BS EN 14256 - Non-structural adhesives?
The mechanical properties of adhesively bonded joints are strongly dependent on the temperature at which they are determined and could be altered when subjected to continuous exposures at specified conditions of time and temperature.
BS EN 14256 determines methods and procedures for testing and demining the resistance to static load.
BS EN 14256 provides you with apparatus, sampling, transport, storage, and preparation of test pieces, preparation of reagents and apparatus, pre-treatment of test pieces, test procedure, and much more.
The specifications given in BS EN 14256 enable you to standardize the quality of adhesives which contributes a lot to maintaining the high quality and efficient functioning.
