What is BS EN 15560 - Total nitrogen in calcium cyanamide fertilizers about?
BS EN 15560 is a European standard that serves technical specifications for total nitrogen in calcium cyanamide fertilizers, enabling easy absorption of nitrogen and nutrients in the plant root zone.
BS EN 15560 specifies a method for the determination of total nitrogen in nitrate-free calcium cyanamide.
Who is BS EN 15560 - Total nitrogen in calcium cyanamide fertilizers for?
BS EN 15560 on the total nitrogen in calcium cyanamide fertilizers applies to:
- Manufacturers of fertilizers
- Dealers and importers of fertilizers
- Testing labs for fertilizers
- Quality assurance services
- Regulatory bodies
Why should you use BS EN 15560 - Total nitrogen in calcium cyanamide fertilizers?
Calcium cyanamide is a chemical substance found in agricultural fertilisers. Calcium cyanamide fertilizers aid plants in producing large yields, allowing farmers to maximise income. The chemical is sprayed straight into the soil, where it decomposes into chemicals that aid in plant growth.
BS EN 15560 provides users guidance on a method for the determination of total nitrogen in nitrate-free calcium cyanamide. BS EN 15560 also provides users with a step-by-step procedure for the method, enabling users to do the method correctly.
BS EN 15560 provides users guidance on principle, apparatus, sampling, sample preparation, procedure, calculation, expression of results and test report, enabling accurate determination of nitrogen content that facilitates nutrient absorption in plants.
With obedience and compliance of BS EN 15560, users can assess total nitrogen in calcium cyanamide, ensuring the uptake of nutrients in plants for optimum plant growth and increased yields.
What’s changed since the last update?
BS EN 15560:2009 supersedes DD CEN/TS 15560:2007, which is now withdrawn.
