1 Scope This European Standard applies to pneumatic half couplings designed to couple either the brake pipes or main reservoir pipes of railway vehicles, without taking the type of vehicles and track-gauge into consideration. This European Standard gives the requirements for the design, dimensions, testing and quality assurance of pneumatic half couplings.
