Why should you use BS EN 2566-Aerospace series: Fluorocarbon rubber?
Fluorocarbon rubber (FKM), often known as fluoro-rubber, is a widely used polymer in the aerospace and automobile sectors. They're used to make high-performance machinery that requires high-quality components to maintain stability under extreme conditions.
BS EN 2566 provides you guidance on test methods for properties such as hardness, density, tensile strength, elongation at break, modulus at % strain, tear strength and crystallization that ensures long service life and performance at higher temperatures.
BS EN 2566 also provides you guidance on tests after exposure to test media, including volume, mass, tensile strength, and hardness for test media such as air, liquid b and fluid 101, which ensures safety and operability under extreme conditions.
Guidance in BS EN 2566 enables you to develop and assess fluorocarbon rubber parts and components that facilitate fuel and heat resistance suited for aviation applications.
