Why should you use BS EN 3660-001 - Cable outlet accessories ?
An electrical connector is a device that connects two active devices to transmit current or signals.
Cable outlet accessories are used with the circular and rectangular electrical connector and an optical connector for connecting, protecting, switching, lighting, heating, etc. They are made from materials that suit their intended purpose and are designed to provide safe use.
The guidelines given in BS EN 3660-001 helps you select the right connector and an outlet accessory as they improve the production process if an electronic component fails. The failed component can be replaced when an electrical connector is installed.
As a design engineer, guidelines provided in BS EN 3660-001 helps you with the safe use of cable outlet accessories and electrical connectors. You have greater flexibility while designing and integrating new products and composing systems with components as well.
BS EN 3660-001 is structured such that the necessary level of quality is achieved, consistently maintained, and the high reliability of the product assured. By adopting BS EN 3660-001, manufacturers can demonstrate the reliability of their products and build trust in their use throughout the aerospace supply chain.
