What is BS EN 4549 - Pipe coupling in heat resisting steel or nickel alloy about?
BS EN 4549 is a European Standard that defines the dimensions and tolerances for the weld end of fluid system components mating with a pipe.
Both shall be:
- From inch series
- Of the same dimensional code
- Made of corrosion-resistant steel or nickel alloy
Who is BS EN 4549 - Pipe coupling in heat resisting steel or nickel alloy for?
BS EN 4549 on pipe coupling in heat resisting steel or nickel alloy is useful for:
- Aerospace industry
- Aircraft electrical manufacturers
- Design engineers
- Quality control personnel
Why should you use BS EN 4549 - Pipe coupling in heat resisting steel or nickel alloy?
Welding is a fabrication process that joins materials, usually metals or thermoplastics, by using high heat to melt the parts together and allowing them to cool, causing fusion.
BS EN 4549 provides you with the guidelines on dimensions and tolerances for the weld end of fluid system components mating with a pipe. This assists in the production of fluid system components and pipe couplings.
With compliance and obedience to BS EN 4549, you can demonstrate the reliability of your fluid system components and build trust in their use throughout the aerospace supply chain.
