What is BS EN 4550-4 - Female sealing ends about ?
BS EN 4550 is a European standard on aerospace series that discusses pipe coupling design configuration. BS EN 4550-4 provides the best industry guidance on female sealing ends to manufacture efficient pipe couplings.
BS EN 4550-4 is the fourth part of a multi-part series that defines the dimensions and tolerances for the female sealing end of inch series pipe couplings, 37°, for aerospace applications.
Matched fluid system component shall have a male sealing end in accordance with EN 4550-1.
Who is BS EN 4550-4 - Female sealing ends for ?
BS EN 4550-4 on female sealing ends is useful for:
- Aerospace hydraulic systems, fluids, and components
- Aircraft electrical manufacturers
- Design engineers for pipe coupling
- Quality control personnel for pipe coupling
Why should you use BS EN 4550-4 - Female sealing ends ?
Pipe couplings are used to connect two or more sections of pipe for maintaining continuity and to join pipes of different or equal sizes, as well as connect more than just two pipes if they are cross or T-shaped. Flexible couplings allow for efficient and speedy piping repair.
BS EN 4550-4 provides you with the guidelines on configuration, material, heat and surface treatment, surface texture, sealing areas, installation, working pressure of pipe coupling.
As a manufacturer, you can use BS EN 4550-4 guidance in the production of pipe coupling, etc.
BS EN 4550-4, assists in manufacturing pipe coupling that is durable as well of high quality. It also assists in standardizing the performance of pipe coupling.
With compliance and obedience to BS EN 4550-4, you can demonstrate the reliability of the products and build trust in their use throughout the aerospace supply chain.
