What is BS EN 4830-003 - Product standard for optical modules about ?
BS EN 4830 is a European standard on aerospace that discusses rectangular optical connectors. BS EN 4830-003 provides the product standard for the optical module to enhance its efficiency.
BS EN 4830-003is the third part of a multi-part series that specifies the characteristics of optical modules for 4639-10X optical termini, in the family of rectangular, modular, connectors EN 4165.
Who is BS EN 4830-003 - Product standard for optical modules for ?
BS EN 4830-003 on product standard for the optical module is useful for:
- Aerospace avionic electrical and fibre optic technology
- Spacecraft and space products manufacturers
- Aerospace products manufacturers
- Aerospace and defence industries
- Quality control personnel for optical modules
- Design engineers for optical modules
Why should you use BS EN 4830-003 - Product standard for optical modules ?
An optical module connects fibre optic cables to an electronic device. An optical module is a component that is used to connect a fibre-optic cable to an electronic device. There are several different parts of an optical module, and different modules are designed with different specifications.
As a quality control personnel, you can use the guidelines provided in BS EN 4830-003 to check the performance of optical modules and improve their functioning. It assists in achieving greater flexibility while designing and integrating new products and composing systems with components as well.
The guidance in BS EN 4830-003 assists design engineers in designing electrical connectors as per specifications that enhance the reliability of their products. BS EN 4830-003 creates a standardized approach for manufacturers relating to electrical connectors, ensuring compliance with requirements for supply in aerospace applications.
The guidance in BS EN 4830-003 is structured such that the necessary level of quality is consistently maintained, and the high reliability of the product is assured.
With compliance and obedience to BS EN 4830-003, you can enhance the efficacy of the optical connectors and can demonstrate the reliability of their products and build trust in their use throughout the aerospace supply chain.
