What is BS EN 770 - Transport paper sacks about?
Sack made of sack paper is an ideal sustainable packaging solution for use with high resistance materials. It is recommended for industrial products that require high-speed filling, delivering high tensile energy absorption.
BS EN 770 specifies the general characteristics, requirements and methods of test for paper sacks. BS EN 770 is applicable to paper sacks, having a filling mass up to 50 kg, intended for the transport of food aid.
BS EN 770 provides you with test methods and test requirements for the sack materials used while manufacturing. The various tests including drop test, UV-resistance test as described will be carried out in the same atmospheric conditions.
Who is BS EN 770 - Transport paper sacks for?
BS EN 770 on transport paper sacks is useful for:
- Transport sacks manufacturers
- Sack paper manufacturers
- Goods packaging products manufacturers
- The goods packaging and distribution industry
- Inspection bodies
- Quality control personnel
- Testing laboratories
Why should you use BS EN 770 - Transport paper sacks?
The paper is ideal for recycling and as such is environmentally friendly. Paper sacks used for the transport of food aid are designed to provide strong product protection, with high elasticity and high tear resistance, for products with high demands for safety and durability.
BS EN 770 provides you with the dimensions and the dimensional tolerances of the sacks. The closure of the filled sack shall be designed to prevent leakage of the product during transport. Following the description of the dimensions, the method of measuring the dimensions and the dimensional designation of the sack, manufacturers will be able to design appropriate paper sacks.
BS EN 770 guides you with guidance on the determination of the quality of Sack paper which is expressed in the tensile energy absorption. Following the specifications provided in BS EN 770 lets you manufacture and supply high quality paper sacks to your customers. These customers will be able to safely use the sacks.
