What is BS EN IEC 60076‑22‑3‒Liquid to air heat exchangers about?
BS EN IEC 60076‑22‑3 is the third part of a multi-series standard. This part includes the insulating liquid to air heat exchangers used in the cooling circuits of power transformers and reactors.
BS EN IEC 60076‑22‑3 applies to insulating liquid to air heat exchangers, using forced air and forced liquid circuits, used on liquid immersed power transformers and reactors with and without conservator for indoor or outdoor installation.
BS EN IEC 60076‑22‑3 on using insulating liquid to air heat exchangers for transformer cooling outlines the service conditions and the mechanical and electrical requirements that are common to the transformer.
Who is BS EN IEC 60076‑22‑3‒Liquid to air heat exchangers for?
BS EN IEC 60076‑22‑3 on the liquid to air heat exchangers for transformer is for:
- Transformer manufacturers
- Transformer test conductors
- Transformer accessories manufacturers
- Reactor manufacturers
Why should you use BS EN IEC 60076‑22‑3‒Liquid to air heat exchangers?
The transformer may be exposed to damage like burning of winding if the heat exceeds a defined value. A coolant may help in dealing with the heat to maintain the temperature.
BS EN IEC 60076‑22‑3 on using insulating liquid to air heat exchangers for transformer cooling enables you in understanding the salient features of a coolant where the air is used as a heat exchanger to decrease the temperature of oil, core, and coils.
BS EN IEC 60076‑22‑3 guides you in understanding the ideal service conditions, standard design, and cooling arrangement for insulating liquid and air heat exchangers of power transformers and reactors which enhances its efficiency and prevents damage to power transformer or failure of the equipment.
