What is BS EN IEC 61189‑2‑630 - Test methods for materials for interconnection structures about?
BS EN IEC 61189‑2‑630 is an international standard that discusses test methods for electric materials, printed board and other interconnection structures, and assemblies
BS EN IEC 61189‑2‑630 is the second part of the BS EN IEC 61189 series.
BS EN IEC 61189‑2‑630 specifies a test method to determine the amount of water absorbed by metal-clad laminates after conditioning in a pressure vessel for 1 h, 2 h, 3 h, 4 h, or 5 h.
Who is BS EN IEC 61189‑2‑630 - Test methods for materials for interconnection structures for?
BS EN IEC 61189‑2‑630 on moisture absorption after pressure vessel conditioning is relevant to:
- Manufacturers of electronic devices
- Manufacturers of printed circuits and boards
- Quality testing agencies
- Electronics industry
Why should you use BS EN IEC 61189‑2‑630 - Test methods for materials for interconnection structures?
BS EN IEC 61189‑2‑630 guidelines help you in the preparation of test specimens to identify material testing that compromises the amount of water absorbed by metal-clad laminates after conditioning in a pressure vessel. The test instruments are helpful in maintaining a uniform temperature of 105 °C to 110 °C.
As a result, BS EN IEC 61189‑2‑630 tests help determine the extent of electrical resistivity, while ensuring the right insulating materials are selected, to maintain integrity of end-application functionality.
