What is BS EN IEC 62228‑1 - EMC evaluation of transceivers about?
BS EN IEC 62228‑1 is the first part of an international standard used for integrated circuits that specifies the test methods for EMC evaluation of transceivers, enabling the implementation of the EMC tests that result in safety and performance in integrated circuits.
BS EN IEC 62228‑1 provides general information and definitions for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) evaluation of integrated circuits (IC) with transceivers for wired network applications under network conditions. BS EN IEC 62228‑1 defines general test conditions, general test setups, and test and measurement methods are applied to all parts of IEC 62228.
Who is BS EN IEC 62228‑1 - EMC evaluation of transceivers for?
BS EN IEC 62228‑1 on Integrated circuits is useful for:
- Manufacturers of electronic devices
- Semiconductor foundries
- Manufacturers of circuit boards
- Manufacturers of automotive parts
- Electronic engineers
Why should you use BS EN IEC 62228‑1 - EMC evaluation of transceivers?
The integrated circuit is an assembly of electronic components that are fabricated in single units that include connectors, resistors, transistors, and diodes. This transceiver is used in integrated circuits for converting electrical signals into optical signals and vice versa.
By using BS EN IEC 62228‑1 you can evaluate the performance of electromechanical compatibility (EMC) of transceivers that are used in integrated circuits. With the help of EMC evaluation of transceivers, you will be able to perform the functional operation modes of transceivers under minimal network conditions.
BS EN IEC 62228‑1 provides you guidance on EMC evaluation, including general test condition, test board specification and test report, enabling you to extensively test transceivers and prevent EMC failure in integrated circuit applications.
By adopting BS EN IEC 62228‑1, you can evaluate the EMC of transceivers, enabling sustainability, performance and operability in the different conditions.
