What is BS EN IEC 62435‑3 about ?
BS EN IEC 62435‑3 is the third part of electronic components in multi-series.
BS EN IEC 62435‑3 describes the aspects of data storage that are necessary for successful use of electronic components being stored after long periods while maintaining traceability or chain of custody.
BS EN IEC 62435‑3 defines what sort of data needs to be stored alongside the components or dies and the best way to do so in order to avoid losing data during the storage period.
Note: In IEC 62435 (all parts), the term "components" is used interchangeably with dice, wafers, passives and packaged devices.
Who is BS EN IEC 62435‑3 for ?
BS EN IEC 62435‑3 on electronic components is useful for:
- Manufacturer of electronic components
- Semiconductor foundries
- Manufacturers and distributors of electronic components
- Electrical Engineers
Why should you use BS EN IEC 62435‑3 ?
Some electronic devices need to be stored for a longer period of time which supports the production runs in assembling.
BS EN IEC 62435‑3 will help you in saving the data on electronic components without degradation during the entire storage period and helps in archiving the data for future use. Data securing is useful for you in avoiding data loss and helps in keeping data intact. With the help of the media reader hardware, decoding and data conversion is possible.
Buying BS EN IEC 62435‑3 will help you in storing the data in good condition and for a longer period of time. This risk assessment and business assessment are done to determine the traceability of critical data for future use.
