Why should you use BS EN IEC 63203‑204‑1?
Wearable electronics are electronic devices worn by a person to provide intelligent assistance that augments memory intellect, creativity, communication through the use of advanced technology. An electronic textile (e-textile) is a fabric developed with electricity and the use of various technologies. The electronic textiles may be installed with sensors, batteries, LEDs, and hands-free computing devices, depending on the purpose of the fabric. An e-textile is usually created by including conductive materials in the fabric, for example, weaving a silver thread into cloth.
In this regard, BS EN IEC 63203‑204‑1 helps you undertake the household washing durability test for leisurewear and sportswear e-textile systems.
As a buyer of BS EN IEC 63203‑204‑1, you will be able to determine the durability of e-textile systems and improve their functionality based on the specific needs of the garment. You will be able to provide the essential efficiency in terms of functional, aesthetic, and comfort properties while catering to optimum heat and moisture management. Complying to the testing procedures given in BS EN IEC 63203‑204‑1 will further enable you to deliver high-quality and reliable products.
