What is ISO 11339 - T-peel test for flexible to flexible bonded assemblies about?
ISO 11339 is an international organisation for standardization that specifies a Tpeel test for the determination of the peel resistance of an adhesive by measuring the peeling force of a Tshaped bonded assembly of two flexible adherends.
This test procedure does not provide design information.
Note 1: The method in ISO 11339 was originally developed for use with metal adherends but other, flexible, adherends can also be used.
Note 2: Persons using ISO 11339 should be familiar with normal laboratory practice, if applicable. ISO 11339 does not purport to address all of the safety problems, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of any regulatory conditions prior to use.

What’s changed since the last update?
BS EN ISO 11339:2022 supersedes ISO 11339:2010, which is withdrawn. BS EN ISO 11339:2022 includes some technical changes with respect to ISO 11339:2010. These include:
- The term “peel strength” is replaced by the term “peel resistance” in the whole text
- The text has been editorially revised and the references has been updated
