What is ISO 12017 about?
ISO 12017 discusses about Plastics with Poly double-and triple- skin sheets. ISO 12017 specifies the test methods for quality control of poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) extruded double- and triple-skin flat sheets, obtained from colourless and coloured transparent, translucent and opaque grades of materials.
The minimum sheet width is 600 mm. The main applications of these sheets are in building and agriculture (greenhouses).
Who is ISO 12017 for?
ISO 12017 on Poly (methyl methacrylate) double- and triple-skin sheets is for:
- Manufacturers and suppliers of PMMA sheets
- Testing laboratories/ test providers for PMMA sheets
- Plastic manufacturing & processing companies
Why should you use ISO 10619‑2:2021?
PMMA sheets are multi-purpose thermoplastic sheets that are very sturdy and weather-proof, and prove to be perfect for many applications such as agriculture, construction buildings, automotive industries etc.
ISO 10619‑2 provides you with test methods for poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) extruded double- and triple-skin flat sheets, that help you assure the high-quality performance and robustness of a PMMA sheet to your consumers.
What’s changed since the last update?
