What is ISO 14631 about?
ISO 14631 discusses about Extruded sheets of impact-modified polystyrene. ISO 14631 specifies the requirements and test methods for solid flat extruded sheets of impact-modified polystyrene (PS-I) without fillers and reinforcing materials.
ISO 14631 specifies all the technicalities such as material properties, dimensional tolerances, mechanical and thermal properties and gives details like preparation of test specimens, conditioning, delivery conditions, designations etc for solid flat extruded sheets of impact-modified polystyrene.
Note: ISO 14631 applies only to thickness 0.25 mm to 20.0. ISO 14631 also applies to PS-I sheet in roll form.
Who is ISO 14631 for?
ISO 14631 on extruded sheets of impact-modified polystyrene (PS-I) is useful for:
- Thermoformed machine housings and parts manufacturer
- Models and prototypes manufacturer
- Polystyrene sheets manufacturers
- Dealers and suppliers for high impact polystyrene sheets
Why should you use ISO 14631:2021?
High impact modified polystyrene extrude sheets are produced and used in a large amount due to their versatility all over the world.
ISO 14631 gives you the requirements and test methods for solid flat impact-modified polystyrene extruded sheets so as to maintain its compliance with standard norms. It helps you confirm the high-quality performance and robustness of impact-modified polystyrene sheets which can be further used for various applications.
What’s changed since the last update?
