What is ISO 18314-2-Colorimetric analysis about?
ISO 18314 discusses analytical colorimetry. A colorimetric analysis is the technique normally used to determine the concentration of the analyte by comparing the colour changes of the solution.
ISO 18314-2 is the second part of ISO 18314 multi-series and discusses Saunderson correction solutions of the Kubelka-Munk equation. The Kubelka Munk theory has turned out to be the most used theory for describing light scattering and absorption in paper, paint, and plastic, because of its simple form and ease of use.
Who is ISO 18314-2-Colorimetric analysis for?
ISO 18314-2 on analytical colorimetry is useful for:
- Paint Manufacturers
- Automotive Industries
- Textile industries
- Plastics manufacturer
- Packaging material manufacturers
- Quality control personnel
- Interior designer
Why should you use ISO 18314-2-Colorimetric analysis?
Colorimetric analysis is a technique normally used to determine the concentration of the analyte by comparing the colour changes of the solution. ISO 18314-2 specifies the Saunderson correction for different measurement geometries and the solutions of the Kubelka-Munk equation for hiding and transparent layers.
ISO 18314-2 also specifies methods for the calculations of the tinting strength including the residual colour difference with different criteria and of the hiding power.ISO 18314-2 helps you with the manufacturing of high-quality paints and paints surface which help in the product's colour consistency and accuracy and gives your customers a better-finished product.
