What is ISO 1833-2 about?
ISO 1833 discusses textiles. ISO 1833-2 is the second part of the multi-series ISO 1833 and discusses ternary fibre mixtures. ISO 1833-2 specifies methods of quantitative analysis of various ternary mixtures of fibres.
ISO 1833-2 is applicable to mixtures of fibres with more than three components provided that the combination of test methods leads back to simple cases of fibre mixtures.
Who is ISO 1833-2 for?
ISO 1833-2 on quantitative chemical analysis of textile is useful for:
- Textile manufacturers
- Quality control personnel
- Testing laboratories
Why should you use ISO 1833-2?
Quantitative analysis is any method used for determining the amount of a chemical in a sample. The amount is always expressed as a number with appropriate units. An acid-base titration is an example of quantitative analysis. ISO 1833-2 provides the required guidance on conducting quantitative chemical analysis of various ternary mixtures.
Quantitative chemical analysis is beneficial for ensuring the chemical's safety, quality, productivity, control, consistency, among other factors that affect everyday life. ISO 1833-2 helps you to manufacture better quality, safe, and durable products. ISO 1833-2 also helps you to gain consumer confidence.
