- Food and feed producers and handlers
- Microbiological examiners of food and water
- Microbiological laboratories
- Any entity related to microbiology testing.
Why should you use ISO 22117- Guidance for proficiency testing?
Proficiency testing is the determination of laboratory testing performance by means of interlaboratory test comparisons.
ISO 22117 guidelines assist in proficiency testing to meet certain criteria and testing programs (frequency, number of samples, number of repeats, etc.) to meet the requirements of the type of method used and commodity tested, to achieve the level of control required.
ISO 22117 assists in aiding laboratory accreditation in a general framework of quality management.
By adopting ISO 22117 the user can enhance the process of proficiency testing using interlaboratory comparison.
