What is ISO 23999 about?
ISO 23999 specifies a method for determining dimensional stability and curling of resilient floor coverings, in the form of sheets, tiles, or planks after exposure to heat.
Who is ISO 23999 for?
ISO 23999 on resilient floor covering is applicable to:
- Resilient floor cover installers and manufacturers
- Flooring Contractors
- Quality control laboratory
- Resilient floor cover providers
- End users
Why should you use ISO 23999?
Resilient flooring is loosely defined as flooring manufactured from elastic materials. In domestic installation or commercial applications, the flooring may face many changes after use.
ISO 2399 provides a method for dimensional stability and curling after exposure to heat for resilient floor coverings made to withstand heavy use in a variety of commercial and residential settings which will help you design products for the defined purpose.
What’s changed since the last update?
BS EN ISO 23999:2021 supersedes BS EN ISO 23999:2018, which is withdrawn
The main changes BS EN ISO 23999:2021 compared to BS EN ISO 23999:2018 are as follows:
- Cross-references within the document have been updated
- Update to the dimensional stability and curling calculation sections of the method
