Dry cleaning is a process for cleaning textiles in an organic solvent that dissolves oils and fats and disperse particulate dirt substantially without the swelling and creasing associated with washing or wet cleaning.
ISO 3175-5 specifies drycleaning procedures for dibutoxymethane which can provide an aerosol fabric spot cleaner composition that not only provides good removal of oil-based stains or soil.
Since properties of the textile or garment may change progressively on drycleaning and steaming and/or pressing, complying with ISO 3175-5 procedure can help determine the useful life of the textile or garment. It provides different procedures for normal and sensitive materials.
As a result, you can ensure your products offer the required quality and service-life even after its exposure to dibutoxymethane.
