What is BS IEC 60747-5-11 - Radiative and Nonradiative currents of light-emitting diodes (LED) about?
BS IEC 60747 is a series of the international standard used for semiconductor devices that have their electrical conductivities lying between that of good conductors and insulators
BS IEC 60747-5-11 is one of the parts of the BS IEC 60747 series of documents that specifies the measuring methods of radiative and nonradiative currents of light-emitting diodes (LED) that result in manufacturing good quality optoelectronic devices.
BS IEC 60747-5-11 specifies the measuring methods of radiative and nonradiative currents of single light-emitting diode (LED) chips or packages without phosphor.
BS IEC 60747-5-11 utilizes the internal quantum efficiency (IQE) as a function of current, whose measurement methods are discussed in other documents.
Note: White LEDs for lighting applications are out of the scope of BS IEC 60747-5-11.
Who is BS IEC 60747-5-11 Radiative and Nonradiative currents of light-emitting diodes (LED) for?
BS IEC 60747-5-11 on semiconductor devices is useful for:
- Manufacturers of electronic devices
- Semiconductor foundries
- Manufacturers of automotive parts
- Electrical engineers
Why should you use BS IEC 60747-5-11 - Radiative and Nonradiative currents of light-emitting diodes (LED)?
Radiative transition is the absorption of photons if the transition occurs to a higher energy level, or the emission of a photon, for a transition to a lower level. Non-radiative transition arises through several different mechanisms.
BS IEC 60747-5-11 assist you in the measurement of the radiative and nonradiative currents in different climatic conditions.
The measuring equipment mentioned in BS IEC 60747-5-11 is useful in performing the tests.
BS IEC 60747-5-11 is useful in measuring the radiative and nonradiative current by applying specified forward current in a light-emitting diode (LED).
BS IEC 60747-5-11 specifies the measurement methods and test procedures for calculating radiative and nonradiative currents of light-emitting diodes (LED) which are used in optoelectronic devices or in semiconductor devices that ensure the sustainability of light-emitting diode (LED) resulting in producing high-quality semiconductor devices.
