What is BS IEC 62715‑6‑3 about?
BS IEC 62715‑6‑3 is an international standard used for flexible display devices that specifies the mechanical test method which helps in detecting the damages in flexible display devices.
BS IEC 62715‑6‑3 is the sixth part of Flexible display devices in multi-series.
BS IEC 62715‑6‑3 defines the standard test methods to evaluate the mechanical robustness of flexible display modules, especially mechanical robustness regarding impact and hardness, which include displays such as liquid crystal displays (LCDs), e-paper, and organic light-emitting diode (OLED) displays, against external forces, applied to a panel.
Who is BS IEC 62715‑6‑3 for?
BS IEC 62715‑6‑3 on Flexible display devices is useful for:
- Manufacturer of electronic display devices
- Theatre
- Research and development centres of electronic devices
- Electricians
- Electrical engineers
Why should you use BS IEC 62715‑6‑3?
Flexible display devices are visual output surfaces that are designed to withstand being folded, bent and twisted.
BS IEC 62715-6-3 outlines the requirements for evaluating the mechanical robustness properties against a point shock. These mechanical robustness properties help in avoiding point shock in the normal use of flexible display devices. The Pendulum side impact test helps in evaluating the robustness properties by measuring the performance changed after side impact in flexible display devices.
BS IEC 62715-6-3 is useful in detecting the damages and helps in measuring the performance of the devices. BS IEC 62715-6-3 can help you in producing better quality display devices.
