What is BS IEC 63145‑22‑10 about?
BS IEC 63145 discusses eyewear display and BS IEC 63145‑22‑10 is one of the parts of a series of documents.
BS IEC 63145‑22‑10 specifies the standard measurement conditions and measuring methods for determining the see-through optical properties and imaging quality of augmented reality (AR) eyewear displays. This includes the transmission characteristics and ambient the optical performance of the eyewear displays.
Note: Contact lens type displays are out of the scope of BS IEC 63145‑22‑10.
Note 2: The relationship between the scope and other documents (IEC 63145-20-10, IEC 63145-22-10) is shown in Annex A.
Who is BS IEC 63145‑22‑10 for?
BS IEC 63145-22-10 on augmented reality (AR) displays are applicable to:
- Manufacturers of augmented reality (AR) eyewear displays
- Manufacturers of virtual eyewear Mobile computing Information technology companies
Why should you use BS IEC 63145‑22‑10?
The spherical coordinate that is evaluation (latitude) and azimuth (longitude) systems are useful in measuring the size and position of a virtual image. The lightning measuring device ensures the measurements recorded are accurate for AR displays.
BS IEC 63145-22-10 specifies the measuring equipment and methods for AR type. This measurement method mentioned in BS IEC 63145-22-10 is useful in measuring the spectral directional transmittance, colour difference, front side stray light, contrast modulation. BS IEC 63145-22-10 also helps in determining the optical properties as it results in increasing the optical performance of the augmented reality (AR) displays. With this you can ensure a better-quality image in augmented reality (AR) displays.
