What is BS IEC 63211‑3‑5 about?
BS IEC 63211‑3‑5 is an international standard for electronic displays that specifies the durability test method which helps you in conducting the test.
BS IEC 63211‑3‑5 is the third part of Durability test methods for electronic display in multi-series. BS IEC 63211‑3‑5 defines common procedures for surface durability mechanical test methods. This BS IEC 63211‑3‑5 generally describes the test equipment and procedures used for each method when applied on all levels, from parts (i.e., outermost surface parts of products, display panels and modules) to final products (i.e., finished displays or products).
Who is BS IEC 63211‑3‑5 for?
BS IEC 63211‑3‑5 on Durability test methods for electronic displays is useful for:
- Manufacturers of electronic displays devices
- Theatres
- Electricians
- Electronic engineers
Why should you use BS IEC 63211‑3‑5?
The durability of electronic display devices helps in sustaining the devices for a longer period.
BS IEC 63211‑3‑5 is useful in evaluating the ability of the display surface to resist the point shock stresses. The scratch test helps in measuring the resistance of display surface to scratch damages that results in determining the surface durability from sharp contact events. BS IEC 63211‑3‑5 is useful in evaluating the robustness of the display surface against abrasion and help you in sustaining the display devices in different climatic conditions. BS IEC 63211‑3‑5 helps to evaluate the failures that result in producing better quality electronic displays.
BS IEC 63211‑3‑5 can be your guide in performing the mechanical tests for electronic display devices and guide you in using safety equipment while performing the test that will protect you from being injured during testing.
