What is BS ISO 10763 about?
BS ISO 10763 specifies sizes and nominal working pressures for seamless and welded precision steel tubes with outside diameters by ISO 4397, and wall thicknesses and mechanical properties by ISO 3305. The nominal working pressures included in BS ISO 10763 reflect a design factor ratio of 4 to 1 applied to the calculated burst pressures.
Who is BS ISO 10763 for?
BS ISO 10763 on hydraulic fluid power is relevant to:
- Manufacturer of steel tubes
Why should you use BS ISO 10763?
In hydraulic fluid power systems, power is transmitted and controlled through a liquid under pressure within an enclosed circuit.
BS ISO 10763 provides information on nominal working pressures for various tube wall thicknesses.
As a buyer of BS ISO 10763, you can be ensured of the nominal working pressures of tubes this guides the user in manufacturing or selecting seamless and welded precision steel tubes suitable for particular nominal pressure.
What’s changed since the last update?
BS ISO 10763:2020 cancels and replaces the second edition (ISO 10763:2019), which has been technically revised. BS ISO 10763:2020 has a sentence that was corrected in the scope as compared to ISO 10763:2019.
