What is ISO 11724- Determination of total fluorine in coal, coke and fly ash about?
ISO 11724 specifies a method for the determination of total fluorine in coal, coke and fly ash.
ISO 11724 provides various test method such as- pyrohydrolysis, direct-comparison ISE method, analyte-addition ISE method.
Who is ISO 11724- Determination of total fluorine in coal, coke and fly ash for?
ISO 11724- Determination of total fluorine in coal, coke and fly ash is useful for:
- Mineral exploration companies
- Coal mining companies
- Environmental protection agencies
- Regulating authorities
Why should you use ISO 11724- Determination of total fluorine in coal, coke and fly ash?
Pyrohydrolysis is a test method broadly utilized for determining partition of fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine, boron and sulfur from strong samples which incorporate refractive materials that are tough to dissolve.
Pyrohydrolysis is based on the guideline that pulverization of a soild test due to the combined activity of heat and steam at tall temperature produces unstable compounds of the analytes which are caught in an soluble arrangement for consequent examination.
ISO 11724 provides you guidance on Pyrohydrolysis processing to determine fluorine in coal, coke and fly ash with precision, repeatability and reproduciability.
ISO 11724 with methods of determining the fluorine in coal, coke and fly ash is helpful in protecting thermal power plants against corrosion effect and also ensuring protection against environmental impacts.
