What is ISO 19095‑6 - Evaluation of adhesion in plastic-metal assemblies about?
Structures of heterogeneous materials are being manufactured in the automotive and aerospace industry sectors, where higher safety margins are required. The existing test methods are not appropriate because the evaluation of the adhesive interface is difficult, as the polymer material has a relatively low mechanical strength and therefore fractures outside the joints. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a methodology for the evaluation of the adhesive interfaces.
ISO 19095‑6 specifies the environmental conditions to evaluate the accelerated degradation for the adhesion interface performance in plastic-metal assemblies.
Who is ISO 19095‑6 - Evaluation of adhesion in plastic-metal assemblies for?
ISO 19095‑6 on Evaluation of adhesion in plastic-metal assemblies is useful for:- Manufacturers of plastic-metal assemblies
- Entities dealing with plastic metal
- Testing laboratories/ test providers for Evaluation of the adhesion interface performance
- Product development / innovation / research teams
- Quality control teams
Why should you use ISO 19095‑6 - Evaluation of adhesion in plastic-metal assemblies?
It is necessary to develop a methodology for the evaluation of adhesive interfaces. A test method to accurately evaluate the adhesion interface performance or standardization of long-term evaluation under harsh environments is also necessary.
ISO 19095‑6 defines the conditions to evaluate the long-term durability
ISO 19095‑6 on Evaluation of the adhesion interface performance in plastic-metal assemblies gives you information about the environmental conditions to evaluate the accelerated degradation for the adhesion interface performance in plastic-metal assemblies.
Enhance the Evaluation of the adhesion interface performance in plastic-metal assemblies with ISO 19095‑6.
