What is ISO 19976‑2 - Determination of cadmium using ICP-AES about?

ISO 19976‑2 specifies an acid digestion and inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometric (ICP-AES) method for the determination of the mass fraction of cadmium in copper, lead and zinc sulfide concentrates as follows:

• For copper sulfide concentrates, the method is applicable to the determination of mass fractions of cadmium from 0,01 % to 0,30 %
• For lead sulfide concentrates, the method is applicable to the determination of mass fractions of cadmium from 0,01 % to 0,30 %
• For zinc sulfide concentrates, the method is applicable to the determination of mass fractions of cadmium from 0,05 % to 1,00 %

Who is ISO 19976‑2 - Determination of cadmium using ICP-AES for?

ISO 19976‑2- determination of cadmium using ICP-AES is useful for:

• Testing houses
• Laboratories involved in testing
• Environmental protection agencies

Why should you use ISO 19976‑2 - Determination of cadmium using ICP-AES?

ISO 19976‑2 guides you on acid digestion and inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometric method to determine the mass fraction of cadmium in sufides with precision and accuracy.

ISO 19976‑2 specifies ICP-AES procedure which helps you ensure high sensitivity, simultaneous determination, simplicity and low cost while determining traces of cadmium in sulfide concentrates.
