What is ISO 20140‑3 - Environmental performance evaluation data aggregation process about?
ISO 20140‑3 is the third part of the multi-series standard that specifies an aggregation process that provides aggregated environmental performance evaluation data in accordance with a given environmental performance evaluation specification conforming to ISO 201402, by using a set of environmental performance evaluation data conforming to ISO 201405.
ISO 20140‑3 helps you make your manufacturing systems more environmentally friendly.
Note-
This document does not specify any aggregation processes specific to particular implementations of manufacturing systems
Who is ISO 20140‑3 - Environmental performance evaluation data aggregation process for?
ISO 20140‑3 on Evaluating energy efficiency and other factors of manufacturing systems that influence the environment-Environmental performance evaluation data aggregation process is applicable to:
- Managers who are responsible for the environmental conditions of a manufacturing system
- Engineers who design manufacturing processes for products
- Engineers who design a manufacturing system
- Engineers and foremen who are responsible for manufacturing products
Why should you use ISO 20140‑3 - Environmental performance evaluation data aggregation process?
ISO 20140‑3 helps you in benchmarking the environmental performance against a generic reference manufacturing system or comparing between different manufacturing systems
ISO 20140‑3 benefits managers who are responsible for the environmental conditions of a manufacturing system in setting targets for improving environmental performance.
ISO 20140‑3 lays out alternative studies for the engineers for improving environmental performance.
ISO 20140‑3 helps in visualizing the environmental performance of a manufacturing system under operation.
