ISO 2026 also gives the minimum clearances required on the aircraft to provide adequate access for the ground adaptor.
Who is ISO 2026 for?
ISO 2026 on connectors for starting aircraft engines is applicable to the following entities:
- Manufacturers of aerospace equipment (OEMs)
- Civil aviation regulatory authorities
- Design engineers
- Quality control personnel
Why should you use ISO 2026?
ISO 2026 provides you with the dimensions of connectors for starting aircraft engines by air. You will be able to manufacture connectors for starting aircraft engines that comply with dimensions requirements using ISO 2026 guidelines.
The guidelines provided in ISO 2026 help you to establish a standardized approach for connectors that has been internationally accepted. Standardized dimensions allow interchangeability among all international manufacturers of connectors for starting engines by air.
By adopting ISO 2026, you can manufacture connectors that meet quality guidelines, and are manufactured according to the specified requirements. This helps you to build trust throughout the aerospace supply chain.
