Why should you use ISO 20400+ ISO 44001+ ISO 44002- Sustainable procurement and CBRMS?
Procurement is a powerful instrument for organizations wishing to behave in a responsible way and contribute to sustainable development. By integrating sustainability into procurement policies and practices, including those covering supply chains, organizations can manage risk and optimize opportunities. Organizations should therefore use their influence to help their supply chains act more responsibly and sustainably, which ISO 20400 aims to support.
Collaborative business relationships can do businesses a great deal of good. They help build stability and trust that can drive down prices and costs, open wider markets and supply chains, and improve operational efficiency. ISO 44001 provides a framework that can be integrated into an organization’s operations and together with ISO 44002 help optimize the benefits of collaboration between organizations.
Using ISO 44001 and ISO 44002 in conjunction with ISO 20400 can enable organizations to enhance their collaborative engagement with suppliers, customers and partners in using procurement to drive sustainability.
