What is ISO 21437 about?
ISO 21437 discusses wood pulps. ISO 21437 describes the determination of the carbohydrate composition in wood pulp samples.
The method provided by ISO 21437 makes it possible to determine concentrations of individual anhydrous monosaccharides down to 1 mg/g oven-dry pulp.
Who is ISO 21437 for?
ISO 21437 on carbohydrate composition in wood pulp is useful for:
- Paper mills
- Print publication companies
- Testing laboratories/ test providers of wood pulp
Why should you use ISO 21437?
The carbohydrate composition - the contents of the five principal, neutral monosaccharides; arabinose, galactose, glucose, xylose, and mannose - provides chemical information about the main polysaccharides in wood pulps.
ISO 21437 provides you with ion and gas chromatographic methods that help you to determine the contents of the five principal, neutral monosaccharides, as they appear in wood pulps.
ISO 21437 enables you to determine monosaccharides for achieving higher quality and improved separation efficiency in carbohydrate analysis for wood pulps.
