What is ISO 22419-Testing specification for handrails in ships and marine technology about?
ISO 22419 is an international standard on ships and marine technology that discusses the testing specification for handrails using electrical resistance trace heating to determine the performance of handrails.
ISO 22419 specifies a test method to assess the performance of handrails using electrical resistance trace heating to provide anti-icing in low-temperature environments when installed for exterior applications. ISO 22419 also details requirements for the test facility, the test conditions, the test specimens, the test procedures and the test report.
Who is ISO 22419-Testing specification for handrails in ships and marine technology for?
ISO 22419 on the testing specification for handrails in ships and marine technology is relevant to:
- Shipbuilding industries
- Testing agencies
- Any entity involved in the testing of handrails
- Engineers
Why should you use ISO 22419-Testing specification for handrails in ships and marine technology?
A handrail is a rail that is designed to be grasped by the hand to provide safety or support. ISO 22419 provides you with requirements, test conditions, test specimens, test procedures and reports, and much more. This assists in testing and evaluating the performance of handrails using electrical resistance trace heating to manufacture and install high-quality durable handrails to prevent accidents.
With compliance and obedience to ISO 21885, you can enhance the efficacy of handrails in ships and marine technology to ensure safety against hazards due to inefficient handrails.
