What is ISO 22863-10 about?
ISO 22863-10 discusses about Firework. ISO 22863-10 specifies the method for the determination of the nitrogen content in nitrocellulose within pyrotechnic compositions of fireworks by iron (II) sulphate titration.
Who is ISO 22863-10 for?
ISO 22863-10 on nitrogen content in nitrocellulose is applicable for:
- Quality control laboratories
- Black powder or gun powder producers
- Pyrotechnicians
- Fireworks manufacturers
Why should you use ISO 22863-10?
The industrial application of nitrocellulose depends on its nitrogen content. High nitrogen content present in nitrocellulose is used in the manufacture of explosives whereas low nitrogen content in nitrocellulose is used to make a wide range of daily and non-explosive products.
ISO 22863-10 provides an iron (II) sulphate titration method for the determination of nitrogen content which will help you in choosing the correct nitrocellulose for the production of fireworks which ensures the quality and safety of the products.
