What is ISO 22863-7 about?
ISO 22863-7 discusses about fireworks. ISO 22863-7 specifies the qualitative and quantitative analysis methods for the determination of the chlorates content in pyrotechnic compositions by chemical titration analysis, with the minimum detection limit (Cl O3-1) of 1 000 mg/kg.
Who is ISO 22863-7 for?
ISO 22863-7 on chlorates content by chemical titration analysis for fireworks is useful for:
- Pyrotechnicians
- Quality control laboratories
- Fireworks producers
Why should you use ISO 22863-7?
Chlorate has a very powerful oxidizing ability which helps to light the fireworks and increasing the temperature of the firework even further. The increase in temperature with the colour producing mixture gives beautiful colour to the fireworks.
Chlorate has an inherent property to become very reactive which is dangerously sensitive to friction and may spontaneously ignite. ISO 22863-7 provides qualitative and quantitative analysis methods for the determination of the chlorates content in pyrotechnic compositions. This will help you to determine the quantity to be used in fireworks manufacturing and ensuring the safety of the users.
