What is ISO 22876 about ?
Tourists leave their homes and spend money to expand their horizons. Sometimes expectations and reality don’t meet, and tourists end up disappointed with the experience. Bareboat charters sometimes become more responsibility than the tourist had anticipated. In such instances, supplementary services added on by you could be a mutually beneficial arrangement for both parties.
ISO 22876 establishes the minimum requirements for supplementary charter services and experiences offered by a charter provider. It applies to any individual or organization that offers such additional services.
Note 1: ISO 22876 excludes bareboat that do not have living accommodation, are only hired as accommodation, and are not permitted to leave their mooring/berth.
Note 2: ISO 22876 does not establish the construction requirements for equipment provided.
