What is ISO 22915‑4 about?
ISO ISO 22915‑4 specifies tests for verifying the stability of pallet stackers, double stackers, and order-picking trucks with an operator position elevating up to and including 1200 mm lift height, measured from the ground to the floor of the platform.
ISO 22915‑4 is also applicable to such trucks operating under the same conditions when equipped with load handling attachments and to order-picking trucks with an elevating operator's position up to and including 1200 mm lift height when equipped with an additional load lifting device(s).
Note: ISO 22915‑4 applies to these types of industrial trucks, whether with tilting or non-tilting masts or fork arms, having a rated capacity up to and including 5000 kg.
Who is ISO 22915‑4 for?
ISO 2291521 on verification of stability applies to:
- manufacturers of industrial trucks
- design engineers of industrial trucks
- truck operators
- warehouse workers
Why should you use ISO 2291521?
In logistic industries, trucks are used the most for stacking and moving goods. The trucks stackers need to be stable enough for smooth functioning and movement of logistics.
ISO 22915‑4 specifies information about the stability of stacker and order picking trucks.
ISO 22915‑4 provides stability verification tests, to avoid any injury to anyone operating due to an unstable industrial truck. ISO 22915‑4 helps to ensure trust in the reliability of the Industrial trucks by demonstrating their safety and effectiveness, and ultimately the protection of the emergency teams who use them.
What’s changed since the last update?
ISO 22915‑4:2018 supersedes ISO 22915‑4:2009+A1:2013, which is withdrawn. The main change compared to the BS ISO 2291521:2009 is that several drawings are redrawn for better comprehensibility.
