What is ISO 23028 - Aluminium oxide primarily used for the production of aluminium about?
ISO 23028 is applicable to aluminium oxide that describes methods for the sample preparation of smelter-grade aluminium oxide.
ISO 23028 covers the reduction of a bulk sample between 1 kg and 20 kg to produce a sample that is suitable for chemical and physical analysis. The reduced sample produced will be representative of the initial bulk sample. The bulk sample is considered to be from one source.
Note-
The methods are suitable for dry, free-flowing aluminium oxide.
Who is ISO 23028 - Aluminium oxide primarily used for the production of aluminium for?
ISO 23028 on preparation and storage of test samples of aluminium is useful for:
- Manufacturers and suppliers of aluminium
- Aluminium testing facilities
Why should you use ISO 23028 - Aluminium oxide primarily used for the production of aluminium?
Aluminium oxide is used for the production of aluminium.
ISO 23028 provides you with principles, apparatus and procedures for the preparation and storage of test samples of aluminium.
The methods described in ISO 23028 helps you to minimize the exposure of the sample to the atmosphere to avoid water absorption.
