What is ISO 23327 about?
ISO 23327 specifies the test method of moisture-adsorption/desorption efficiency (or capacity) of building materials when there are changes in temperature in sealed boxes containing building materials.
Who is ISO 23327 for?
ISO 23327 on hygrothermal performance of building materials is useful for:
- Builders
- Civil engineers
- Manufacturers of all building-related materials
Why should you use ISO 23327?
Hygrothermal simulations play an important role in predicting the moisture movement through the building envelope and therefore the energy transfer associated with it.
ISO 23327 gives the moisture-adsorption/desorption amount of building materials used for construction purposes.
ISO 23327 provides test methods for curing and thermal insulation of test specimens in order to absorb moisture in the atmosphere up to a constant weight.
ISO 23327 provides examples of measurement of temperature and humidity by volume in a sealed box containing building materials.
Overall, ISO 23327 is helpful in manufacturing the building materials and products to ensure moisture-adsorption/desorption capacity in accordance with temperature and humidity in order to prevent structural damages to walls.
