Using ISO 23722 makes it easier for you to understand the various kinds of meat and meat products and their processing stages in which they are produced, which makes them easier to trade and to process superior quality meat products with a longer shelf life. The usage of uniform and consistent vocabulary regarding meat products is essential to minimize misinterpretation and miscommunication amongst entities across the supply chain.
